Teaching about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
Produced by
Ronald Stockton
A unit for high school students.
This is an entire teaching unit on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is mainly devoted to the historical issues that have contributed to the conflict over the past 100 years. Though last revised in November 1993, the information contained in the lesson is essential to understanding the conflict today.
Teachers can use the lesson all or in part, but it is strongly recommended that it is used as an entire unit so that students can maximize their understanding of the multiple perspectives involved. Below is an outline of the unit. You may follow the links or download the lessons directly.
